『フィリピンの事典』(同朋舎、1992年)、『戦争の記憶を歩く 東南アジアのいま(岩波書店、2007年;英語版:A
Walk Through War Memories in Southeast Asia, New Day Publishers, 2010)、『マンダラ国家から国民国家へ-東南アジア史のなかの第一次世界大戦』(人文書院、2012年)などの編集・執筆を通じて考えた東南アジア研究のなかでのフィリピン研究の特色と役割について論じる。
Prof. Shinzo
Hayase graduated from the Department of Oriental History, the University of
Tokyo in 1980, and subsequently finished his Ph.D. at Murdoch University
(Australia) in 1984. Among the books he
